For those who are in the Immigration Detention Centre in Bangkok. This being the Immigration and Detention Centre in Suan Plu immigration office. You can visit them at set hours. The visiting times are Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. you will need to have your passport or ID Card and complete an application form.

  • Also you are not allowed to take a camera, bags, weapons or a telephone.
  • You are allowed to take food and daily personal items

The visitation process is easy enough to understand. You will need to leave the prohibited items and deposit them with the officials at the IDC in Bangkok. This would mainly be your bag or your phone. You will need to complete your application form. Walk through the metal detector. Then visit the detainee where they are staying. You will note the different visiting times:

Regular visit time

11:00 AM -12:00 PM

Embassy visit

10:00 AM-11:00 PM and 2:00 PM-3:30 PM Monday-Friday.

Deportation

Once you have been prosecuted you are then to be deported from Thailand and will need the following:

  • Your passport
  • Return request completed
  • Air ticket
  • Vehicle costs and airport taxes

These documents will need to be submitted at least 1 business day before departure. They will allow personal items such as clothing for your departure as well as toiletries.
