The visa is the same as the Electronic Travel Authority (subclass 601) as mentioned above however it can be applied for online and is free. Only certain countries’ nationals may use this visa. Thailand however is not part of the eVisitor system.
The eVisitor option is free and you would need to speak to us about this visa for Australia. Note that this is a multiple entry Australian visa which is very handy if you are visiting Australia on a regular basis.

This Australian tourist visa allows you to stay in Australia for 3 months each time you visit Australia. You can visit Australia as many times as you want during the period of 12 months. This might also be an option for you if you are conducting business in Australia.
